If one of your substances is included in the “Authorisation annex”, you must request a specific authorisation. We can prepare your request for authorisation and submit it to the Commission and ECHA.

EPPA can prepare your complete authorisation dossier, from the scientific aspects such as chemical safety reports, to providing you with socio-economic analysis.

EPPA will present the dossier to the European Commission; ensure follow up with members of the Regulatory Committee in the 27 EU Member States and the officials from ECHA to secure a positive decision. We will also apply for renewal of the authorisation before it expires.

EPPA’s environmental consultants have extensive knowledge and expertise in EU procedures (comitology) regarding substance approval. We have secured authorisation for use of substances in pesticides, and exemptions for use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

We work with your company to identify if your products contain substances eligible for a ban and provide you with early intelligence about priorities of Member States, ECHA and EU Commission regarding substance restrictions. Then as necessary we obtain the relevant authorisation for you.
