On 18 June 2010 the Member State Committee (MSC) unanimously agreed to include a new batch of eight substances into the Candidate list. The new candidates are as follows:

• Trichloroethylene
• Boric acid
• Disodium tetraborate, anhydrous
• Tetraboron disodium heptaoxide, hydrate
• Disodium tetraborate and tetraboron disodium heptaoxide form the same compounds in aqueous solutions.
• Sodium chromate
• Potassium chromate
• Ammonium dichromate

ECHA will update the Candidate list “without delay”. The updated list will have immediate obligations for article producers under REACH article 33 to communicate information on the content of SVHC substances in their products with a concentration of more than 0,1 % w/w.
