On 3 December 2010 the Member State Committee (MSC) agreed unanimously with the identification of eight SVHCs to be included in the Candidate list, followed by ECHA update of the Candidate list on 15 December 2010:

• Chromium trioxide
• Acids generated from chromium trioxide and their oligomers
• Cobalt(II)sulphate
• Cobalt(II)dinitrate
• Cobalt(II)carbonate
• Cobalt(II)diacetate
• 2-methox2-ethoxyethanol

The included substances are either carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic (CMR).

The candidate list now includes a total of 46 substances.
