The ECHA’s legal team is still working on the definition of the 0.1 % w/w threshold concerning the SVHCs in final products.

According to Geert Dancet, ECHA’s executive director, a recommendation is expected next month on this matter. The latest version of the Guidance on substances in Articles suggested that SVHCs present in articles may need to be notified to ECHA starting from 1 June 2010.
